I love this carrier so much, I recommend it to everyone I can. I bought it about 18months ago and alas didn't watch the instructional DVD for the first 6 months so I found it a bit uncomfortable. After I'd watched the DVD and adjusted where I was wearing the carrier I haven't put it down and take it with me everywhere I go. I've thrown away the puschairs and use this all the time for my 2 1/2 year old and even my 6year old sometimes.
Don't be put off by the price, it costs the same as a buggy and is so much more usable, for getting through doorways, up and down escalators, and just for the shear fact that you don't have to lug a buggy around with you everywhere regardless of whether your child wants to sit in it or not!
I also love having my daughter at my height so she can see what I can and really be part of the walk rather than sitting out the front unable to see anyone. I particularly like it when she falls asleep on my back and I quite often take her out when I know she's tired precisely so she does that. |

BRILLIANT!
While our friends struggled along the beach with their buggy, my husband and I were hands-free with a happy daughter enjoying her newfound views. And when their child's neck lolled around while she took a nap in the buggy, our little one's neck was supported by the brilliant hood (which I discovered extends when your youngster is wearing a wolly hat in the winter.)
Now we take it on all our holidays - the last location being Bruges - so it's a well travelled carrier.
I must admit it took a littlewhile to get the hang of putting her on my back alone, but hey it took me about 6 months to figure out how to fold down my buggy!!
And talk about comfortable.....100% improvement from my old hang-by-the-crotch carrier. |

I bought this carrier for my 8 month old son. it's really easy to put on and comfortable to wear. i would recommend it. The carrier was sent out within a couple of days. I think this carrier is great for babies that can hold their heads well. i don't have an infant insert for this carrier. however having seen the carrier i probably wouldn't get one (if we have another baby) as i'm not sure i would be happy about the support it could give. |

i have a nine month old baby who at the moment is going through seperation anxiety, he gets distressed if he is put down or passed to other family members. i searched dilligently for a carrier that would keep my baby close to me, felt comfortable even with his weight (he is about 19lbs) and left my hands free to continue doing my daily tasks of running a home. I have been using the ergo for only a few days but already i wouldnt be without it. my baby rides on my back all day long, he is a much happier baby, i am a much happier mummy, the carrier is very comfy to wear and the baby is not heavy at all in it. I still have both hands free to continue my daily tasks. I would not be without this carrier now and would definatley recommend this carrier to all mums, I have found the very best carrier for me and my baby, it was well worth every penny. |
