Juno is a relatively new parenting magazine based in the UK with a strong ethos based on natural parenting, environmental sustainability, social justice, and spiritual awareness. Published and edited by two full-time mums, Juno contains features, interviews, reviews, personal stories and children's pages.
Juno is also about creativity and having fun. Juno celebrates differences and explores those in parenting styles, culture, education and across generations. Juno's outlook is positive without shying away from the valuable and sometimes difficult lessons our children have to teach us.
Here's what Juno's readers had to say about the first issue:
"Fantastic - just what I have been looking for..."
"The new natural parent - only better!"
"An intelligent alternative to some of the fluffier parenting magazines."
Issue Five ? Spring 2005 features:
- Preparing for Pregnancy
- Giving Up TV
- Drug Education
- Campaign for Tibet
- Breastfeeding and lots more!
