I recently bought an Ergo Baby Carrier for my son and daughter-in-law. They are absolutely delighted with it and my daughter-in-law has written the following review.
Review: Ergo Baby Carrier
This is an excellent product for mums and dads who want to get out and about with their offspring. Lightweight and compact, the carrier is easy for the wearer to put on without help. Although the carrier is roomy enough for the baby to have a good view of everything around him, the supportive hood allows him to snuggle up and take a quick nap while mobile. The big advantage for us was the amount which our baby could see while on the move ? where as he would get bored and squally after half an hour in a buggy, we enjoyed a wail-free afternoon while he rode around close to dad?s chest. Additionally the wearer?s centre of balance is unaffected by the carrier, allowing my husband to skip nimbly across canal locks and eat lunch with our son on board. It?s also far more convenient than lugging a pushchair around, particularly in places where space is at a premium, like on buses. The only disadvantage is you have to watch the straps that hold the baby?s legs in place as they can chafe sensitive skin, but this isn?t a problem if the passenger is wearing a babygrow rather than trousers. Overall this may not be the cheapest carrier on the market but it?s well worth spending a few extra pennies so your baby can travel in luxury. Annette Kinsella.
