I had done a lot of research online about this carrier and had decided that it would be the one for me. I had originally tried to get one used on ebay, but was unsuccessful--the final winning price was only £5 less than the price it would be new, so I figured with a resale value like that I could afford the risk of buying something I thought was a little pricey.
When I got it and opened it up, it kept unfolding and unfolding until there was literally yards of material in a pile at my feet. I thought, "uh-oh" and wondered what my husband would think when he got home. I was determined to get it to work and with the very useful video, I had it mostly mastered the first try or so.
My son loves this carrier. It's soft and keeps him super close to me while I do all kinds of chores around the house. He sleeps for hours in it, or just peacefully looks around when he's awake. No shoulder or back pain at all for me! The thing I like best is that I can wear it like a piece clothing all day long and pop him in and out when I need to. It doesn't look too different from wearing a T-shirt, it's almost invisible if I wear it over a black shirt (I got the black Hug A Bub). It's comfortable to sit it--no buckles digging into my back or shoulders. The pocket is very handy for quick trips out, it can hold quite a bit--a nappy, wipes, wallet...I am still working on it, but I am pretty sure that I will be able to nurse him in this carrier too. I would recommend this product highly. Really worth the money!
